Launch In 30 Days Course (DIY Edition) – Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to online courses provided by The VA Foundry

Services

The VA Foundry offers certain online course content relating to starting and scaling a virtual assistant business and related subjects. The course description is intended to indicate only the general nature of the course and does not guarantee content. The VA Foundry reserves the right to amend the course and alter details at its discretion. Courses may be withdrawn at any time, subject to thirty days prior notice.

Payment / Registration

You may choose between a single payment of $1397 NZD (due immediately) or 3 monthly payments of $512 NZD. If you elect to pay for the Course in full, you can pay in one payment of $1397 NZD. If you select the payment plan, you must pay the initial payment today and then your selected payment method will be automatically charged the following 2 payments on a monthly basis, for a total payment of $1536 NZD. If you opt for monthly payments, you will remain responsible for those payments unless you obtain a refund according to The VA Foundry’s Refund Policy set forth below. You may not cancel or avoid these payments except through the Refund Policy. In the event that any payment is not made, The VA Foundry shall immediately suspend your access to the Course.

Courses will be billed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD), Australian Dollars (AUD) or US Dollars (USD). Accepted payment methods are PayPal, MasterCard or Visa.

You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information. Submission of your registration, alongside full (or first) payment of the Fee constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your registration up to the day of the course starting. Following the start of the course, a refund cannot be offered.

Please note: If you opted for a payment plan and do not request to cancel your registration prior to the start of the Course, you are required by law to complete the remaining payments of your payment plan.

The VA Foundry reserves the right to cancel the Course by giving you notice in writing (including by email) at any time before the course start date. The VA Foundry will refund all fees paid by you for the cancelled course. The VA Foundry’s liability when it cancels an online Course will be limited to a refund of the Fee or any other charges paid for the cancelled Course. For partial cancellation of a Course, such refunds will be made on a proportionate basis. All dates are subject to change, however notice of such change will be given and refunds will not be issued for any rescheduled class.

Completion Certificate

The VA Foundry may offer a course completion certificate for some courses. To qualify for the Certificate you must have completed all of the course content and assessments on each module. Course completion certificates will be issued electronically within 30 days of receiving the request for the completion Certificate and once the review of the completion has been undertaken. You must have requested the Certificate within 90 days of the course start date. The VA Foundry reserves the right to decline any requests made after 90 days of the course start date. The VA Foundry also reserves the right to decline a request for a completion certificate at their discretion if the course content and assessments have not been completed.

 

Copyright

All materials – including but not limited to text, photographs, video, audio, images and any other content – appearing via the Course and/or on the Website are protected by copyrights and/or other proprietary rights belonging to The VA Foundry and/or other third parties. You agree to abide by all applicable laws regarding copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights and privacy rights in NZ, AUS, the US, UK and any other jurisdiction from which you are accessing the Website.

You may not copy, reproduce, duplicate, distribute, disseminate, publish, post, display, perform, modify, create derivative works from, upload to, transmit, or in any way exploit any content from the Course and/or on the Website. You may not sell or offer for sale any of the content, or allow third parties to access it, or use such content to construct any kind of database. You may use the content from the Course and/or on the Website only for personal, non-commercial use.
You agree to maintain the security of any user name and password required for accessing the Course. You will notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your username and/or password. Only you may access the course using your login details.

Data protection

By registering with The VA Foundry and by paying the fees, you agree to The VA Foundry collecting and using your personal data. This will be done in accordance with The VA Foundry’s privacy policy. Unless you request otherwise, we reserve the right to share your name and results on social media at any time.

Technology requirements

The Course is facilitated through our online learning management system Kajabi. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the proper hardware and software requirements, along with access to Wi-Fi, to be able to participate in the course. The VA Foundry is not be responsible for any errors or failures in relation to your ability to access the Course, the Website or any related materials, including where such errors or failures are caused by: (i) a loss of connection on The VA Foundry’s or your end; (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online software and/or (iii) a breakdown or problems with your internet connection, computer or system.

Limitation of liability

Except in case of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, The VA Foundry accepts no liability for any damages caused in connection with the services under this agreement. This includes but is not limited to damages in the form of data loss, failure to operate, lost revenue or missed profits.
Term

The service is provided for the lifetime of the course, as decided by The VA Foundry. If you have registered for the Launch in 30 Days course you only have access to the course content for 90 days from the start date of the course.

Law and venue

Any disputes in connection with this agreement are governed by New Zealand law and must be brought before the courts of New Zealand.
